Our Approach to Security
Getfused takes a comprehensive approach to website security by integrating robust tools and best practices. We leverage Cloudflare to provide automatic DDoS detection and mitigation, utilizing both OWASP and Cloudflare’s Managed ruleset. Custom security rules are also applied to minimize attack surfaces and reduce bot activity, enhancing security for our specific application.
Getfused partners with Pressable, an Automattic company, for WordPress hosting. Pressable provides daily filesystem and hourly database backups with a 30-day retention policy. Pressable’s proactive security measures include their own Web Application Firewall with an intricate set of rules specifically for blocking web, PHP, and WordPress exploits. Jetpack Security is included with each of our client sites and provides a variety of protection features, including real-time line-by-line malware scanning and highly granular real-time backups.
Automated WordPress core upgrades on day of release and weekly plugin updates keep our banking clients’ sites up to date with the latest security enhancements. Additionally, Getfused monitors all sites and systems on a 24/7/365 basis with self-hosted and 3rd party monitoring for redundancy.
