The Farmer’s Cow Ice Cream is a New England ice cream brand built on local farms, clean labels, and a family focus, sold across regional grocery stores and independent markets.
Getfused partnered with The Farmer’s Cow to build the brand’s first real marketing engine: a strategy, a stand-alone web presence, a summer of tasting events, and the ongoing execution to keep it all running.
The Farmer’s Cow Ice Cream had proven something rare. It was selling well across regional grocers and local markets with no marketing behind it at all. After a couple of years testing sizing, pricing, and promotions, the brand had found its footing and was ready to take share from bigger competitors on the strength of what it did best: good ice cream at a fair price, made with clean ingredients and a real story behind every flavor.
What it did not yet have was a way to tell that story at scale. There was no home online built for the brand, no engine connecting in-store discovery to lasting engagement, and no way to turn a shopper reaching for a pint into a follower, a subscriber, or a repeat buyer. The Farmer’s Cow needed a marketing foundation that could carry the brand’s local, family-first identity across every channel and connect the moment in the aisle to everything that came after.
From here, Getfused continued its partnership with The Farmer’s Cow Ice Cream to build the solution.
Think. Create. Activate.
Getfused started where the strategy had to start: understanding the brand, the buyer, and the competitive landscape. The team ran a full analytics and sales review, then worked through discovery to sharpen the brand story, define the target audiences, and pin down the competitive advantages that set the ice cream apart. From there, Getfused built a complete marketing strategy: audiences and messaging, content and creative direction, the mix of tactics, and a campaign calendar with the media plan to support it. Clarity came first. The result was a plan that connected the brand’s local, clean-label promise to the audiences most likely to reach for it.
A brand story sharp enough to compete on value, not price alone. A clear read on who the buyer is and what moves them. A strategy built to connect every channel to the next.
With the strategy set, Getfused built The Farmer’s Cow Ice Cream a stand-alone web presence of its own, extending the parent brand’s identity while giving the ice cream room to lead. The site put the flavors forward with real depth behind each one, kept a live “Where to Buy” so shoppers could find product near them, and pulled in timely content, tasting events, social moments, and the stories behind the flavors, always anchored to local farms, clean labels, and family. Email signup ran throughout, turning site visits into a growing list of people the brand could reach directly.
A home online where the brand controls its own story. Flavors and farms shown with the depth they deserve. A steady path from first visit to first subscribe.
This is where the strategy went to work. Getfused staffed a full summer of tasting events, 52 in all, putting the product directly in shoppers’ hands across key grocery locations. Around those events, the team ran the full marketing engine month over month: paid and organic social built for the ice cream brand, monthly email, grocery cart and billboard advertising with the creative to match, event support and giveaways, and ongoing website updates for flavors, promotions, and store locations. Monthly reporting tied it all together, integrating web, social, email, and store sales data so every channel could be read against the one that mattered most: what moved off the shelf.
A brand that shows up in the aisle and stays present long after. Every channel working from one plan, toward one goal. Reporting that connects the marketing to the sales it drives.
Getfused delivered a full marketing strategy, a stand-alone web presence, event staffing, and ongoing marketing execution, connecting in-store discovery to lasting engagement across every channel.
