Your Brain on Social Media, a project of the Shah Family Foundation, provides parents, educators, and caregivers with a curated collection of the latest research, news, and expert guidance on teen social media and mental health.
We partnered with the Foundation to launch a new website that prominently features original content, including a six-part video series by Dr. Stuart Ablon, while organizing extensive research and resources in an intuitive, user-centric way.
A key component of the project was creating a visual identity and logo that set the design tone for the site and will be essential for future marketing efforts. The site was designed to be mobile responsive, web accessible, and easy for staff to manage, with a scalable content hierarchy and robust analytics tracking. Our ongoing support ensures the platform continues to engage users, drive awareness, and promote the organization’s educational mission.
We conducted a comprehensive discovery to understand the Foundation’s goals, target audiences, and content needs. This included pre-workshop stakeholder homework, an extensive analytics review, and a collaborative workshop with key project stakeholders to inform site architecture, design, and functionality. These insights allowed us to craft an online experience where parents, educators, and caregivers could easily access video content, research, and guidance.
We began by creating a logo that reflected the warmth and supportive mission of Your Brain on Social Media, capturing the parent-child connection. From there, we developed a web style guide and design compositions that prioritized accessibility, user-centered layout, and intuitive navigation. Special attention was given to presenting the six-part video series in an open-course format, creating a cohesive experience aligned with the organization’s educational mission.
We continue to provide ongoing web support, keeping the site accessible, mobile-friendly, and optimized for user engagement. Our team ensures content is easy to manage for staff, and we help maintain analytics tracking to measure user interaction and site performance. This partnership allows the Foundation to focus on its programs while we ensure the platform remains a reliable, engaging resource.

Getfused continues to support the organization’s mission to maintain a meaningful experience for parents, educators, and caregivers.
Getfused designed a logo for “Your Brain on Social Media” that effectively reflected their brand identity and mission. The process began with hand-drawn concepts, which were refined into black-and-white options for review, and finally a selection of full-color logos, leading to a final selection.
The completed logo was delivered with variations for different applications, ensuring versatility across digital and print media.
Getfused conducted a thorough analysis of site analytics to understand user behavior and content consumption. Based on those insights, a refined navigation and page structure were developed, illustrated through wireframes and an architectural diagram to define content placement.
A web style guide and design compositions were then created, incorporating a vibrant and playful, yet professional color palette and design elements to deliver an engaging digital experience.
