The mission of the Ron Burton Training Village (RBTV) is to train youth to achieve their purpose, despite life’s challenges, through education, leadership, physical wellness, social advancement and spiritual growth.

For nearly two decades, Getfused has had the privilege of partnering with the team at Ron Burton Training Village. What started as a simple introduction has grown into one of the most meaningful relationships in our journey. We’ve been proud to support their mission and help share their message.

Over the years, we’ve partnered with RBTV on multiple website iterations and the creation of a logo that reflects their heritage and values. Beyond our design work, we’ve supported their programs firsthand by volunteering at the camp. This long-standing partnership reflects our commitment to helping RBTV share their message and connect with the community.

Establishing the Foundation

After hosting RBTV’s web presence for many years, we began our most recent work with the organization by designing a new logo that reflected their values, mission, and focus. This logo set the visual tone for the website and broader materials, honoring RBTV’s legacy while representing its evolved mission.

Bringing the Brand to Life

Building from the new logo, we developed a web style guide and design system that translated RBTV’s refreshed brand into the site. This included typography, color, components, layouts, and patterns to ensure consistency and scalability. Using this system, we created a modernized website that aligned with the updated brand, improved navigation, and enhanced the presentation of content across the site.

Beyond design and development, we continue to support RBTV through website hosting, maintenance, and ongoing updates. Our team also participates in volunteer work regularly, reinforcing our commitment to their mission and community impact.

Logo Evolution

Getfused was honored to be approached for a logo redesign project for RBTV, knowing how much personal significance the original mark held for its founding family and community.

Used for decades, the original logo represented the organization’s early mission of supporting boys through athletics and leadership. But, as RBTV evolved to serve both girls and boys and expanded its programming to include STEM education, the logo needed to reflect that broader mission.

Getfused approached the work carefully and thoughtfully, working closely with the family to honor the spirit of the original logo.

The New Logo

The new Ron Burton Training Village logo embodies the organization’s core values of Love, Peace, Patience, and Humility through a structured emblem. The shield design reinforces discipline, strength, and legacy. The four quadrants, containing boys and girls, symbolize key aspects of personal growth – athletics, education, leadership, and reflection. 

The bold circular layout conveys unity and community, while the laurel wreath represents achievement and perseverance. The deep navy palette exudes trust and tradition, anchoring the logo in the organization’s longstanding mission of character development and excellence.

Brand Guideto the Web

After successfully using a web presence developed by Getfused for many years, and following the publication of a refreshed brand guide, Getfused and RBTV saw the need for a modernized website that aligned with the updated brand.

The new brand guide, created by a third-party agency, provided a strong visual foundation but needed to be adapted for the digital space. Our team translated it into a robust, scalable web design system; defining how core elements like typography, color, and tone would apply to web. From there, we developed components, treatments, layouts, and patterns that thoughtfully expanded upon the brand.

The result was a cohesive, highly designed web presence that brought the refreshed brand to life online and ensured consistency across all of RBTV’s materials, including their physical spaces.
