Getfused is a growing creative marketing agency in the heart of Boston. We started as a team of technologists in 1996, creating first-of-their-kind solutions that got the Patriots eCommerce through Superbowl traffic. About The Role
Getfused is seeking an entry level social media coordinator who is eager to apply and expand their knowledge and expertise in social media strategy, content creation and execution. Working alongside each member of our marketing team, and reporting to our Marketing Director, you will be involved in strategizing, managing, and executing social media calendars for an array of clients across social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more. You will work collaboratively with our creative team on the creative assets needed to execute posts for these social calendars.
While, we do have office space in the heart of Boston, MA, we are open to this position being 100% remote for those on the east coast. For those who are local, going into the office as you desire is also an option.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute organic social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish and share content (original text, images, video, etc.) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
- Create monthly editorial calendars and schedules
- Moderate all commentary and user-generated content across client social platforms
- Leverage scheduling platforms like Sprout Social to schedule calendars, monitor commentary and analyze performance
- Leverage social listening tools like Digimind to find trending topics and report on social media commentary for our clients
- Work collaboratively with other members of the marketing team to ensure consistency in voice, tone and focus of efforts as part of the larger strategy.
Skills & Qualifications
- Internship up to 1 year of experience in a social media role
- Experience with social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Twitter in a business setting
- Experience using scheduling platforms such as Sprout Social a plus
- Experience using listening platforms like Digimind a plus
- Overall knowledge of digital marketing best practices
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- A desire to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, team-oriented environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High degree of individual initiative and thrives in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent
