The Challenge
Big Sister was looking to increase recruitment of “Bigs” in order to lower the average wait time to match up a “Little”. Big Sister was also looking to increase the level of donations and the number of participating corporations. The website that Big Sister had was not user friendly and did not have the capability to be managed by the organization, making it costly to update and difficult to get users back to the site without new content.
The Solution
Getfused created a website that had a more professional, clean look and feel which catered to all groups; guardians of Littles, Bigs and donators. Getfused put this design onto the Getfused CMS, which allowed Big Sister to manage content on their own, keeping content timely and up to date, and free from costly maintenance bills. Our platform also allowed Big Sister to offer online registration for major events, while providing ample information to potential volunteers.
Results
Big Sister’s website has become a place that Bigs, Littles and their families and donors can come and find all the information that they need. The website helped to increase the efficiency of obtaining volunteers and matching them quickly with Littles; lowering the average wait time to create a match. Big Sister has received more donations and attendance to events, as the website allows for donations and event registration to be done online.
