News - What is the health of your search campaign?

August 02, 2009 - Little Getfused DudeThe easiest way to determine if a search engine campaign is performing well for the conditions that are provided is by reviewing the volume of inbound links from non-pay per click sources and comparing it to the traffic from organic search engines that are derived from non-company specific keywords.

If the non-company specific searches & organic listings are higher than the non-CPC inbound links then more fuel must be brought in to increase the power behind the search engines.  If this is the case in play then the search engine campaign is firing on all cylinders given the circumstances it is provided.

If the non-CPC inbound links are even with (or approaching being even with) the organic listings that means the organic listings are lacking in performance and measures are need to take place in order to propel the search engine campaign to a new level.
