News - Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters launches site redesign!

Jewish Big Brother Big Sister launched their site redesign on Monday, April 27th! With a fresh design, inspiring new content, a volunteer portal and e-commerce capabilities the redesign is sure to be a success!

At the start of the project both Getfused and JBBBS set out to define their business goals. In a series of stakeholder meetings, we defined Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission, what services they were focused on growing and what audience they were targeting. We also asked the question of how a new website would become an effective tool for driving other external communications and allowing volunteers to connect with one another.

Some goals established at the start of the project were to increase awareness of the organization to reduce faith-based barriers, increase online donations, attract stable volunteers by clearly displaying requirements, increase qualified volunteer leads through content positioning, images and search engine optimization and decreasing the number of volunteers who drop out of the program in the first 3 months.

JBBBS’ site now resides on the Getfused CMS platform which makes it easy for them to manage content across departments in a consistent, timely and reliable fashion. They’ve utilized a wealth of tools provided in the system such as Data Collection/Form Management which can add a form to any page and Related Content which has allowed them to quickly relate existing page or listing content into any page. This option is a great attribute because it can quickly create a user funnel that captures the impulse mood of a visitor by dynamically displaying a particular service and cross navigating them to relevant content.

The new user -centered design excites visitors and allows them to quickly find the information they need. They are now quickly converted from a casual visitor to a volunteer, donator or a little.

As a non-profit agency that focuses on improving the life of children and adults in need by building stable relationships, Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to support and enrich the world around these individuals by providing assistance to their families and communities. We sincerely believe the re-designed site should assist them in reaching their goals.
