News - Massachusetts Clean Energy Center launches their web site!

April 16, 2009 - Additional services provided by Getfused include Information Architecture and Interactive Design. At the start of the project Getfused met with key individuals at Massachusetts Clean Energy Center to extract the goals which the center had for the site. We sifted through information, functions, users and blended our technical experience with our keen sense for organizing structures of information. Getfused’s information architects then created a plan and innovatively structured new and existing information on the website in a logical manner. Next our interactive designers created a new look and feel for the site. They created features which improved the site’s overall usability. Now users will have easy access to the information they need. Massachusetts Clean Energy Center is leading the way in innovative and comprehensive energy reform that will make clean energy a centerpiece of the Commonwealth’s economic future. The Green Jobs Act of 2008 created the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center to accelerate job growth and economic development in the state’s clean energy industry. By creating a newsletter sign-up tool on the site they can now take signup information and automatically pass it over to marketing software such as Constant Contact. Massachusetts Clean Energy Center will increase their member base without having to upload and manipulate large amounts of data. It is all done automatically. Looking to the future, Massachusetts Clean Energy Center will now be able to flexibly scale their site to meet the need of their users!
