News - Boston Partners in Education launched a web site redesign on Tuesday, January 27th.
January 27, 2009 - Boston Partners in Education launched a comprehensive web site redesign on Tuesday, January 27th. The site is now on the GetfusedCMS platform which allows Boston Partners to keep the Getfused-developed site fresh and compelling. At a moment’s notice they can add news, events and press releases. Pages throughout the site can easily be updated with new content and images. All this done through a system so simple to use it takes one tutorial and you are off and rolling!
Additional services provided by Getfused include Information Architecture and Interactive Design. At the start of the project Getfused met with key individuals at Boston Partners to extract the goals which the company had for the site. We sifted through information, functions, users, business goals and blended our technical experience with our keen sense for organizing structures of information.
Getfused’s information architects then created a plan and innovatively restructured new and existing information on the website in a logical manner. Next our interactive designers created a new look and feel for the site. They created features which improved the site’s overall usability. Now users will have easy access to the information they need.
Boston Partners in Education seeks to enhance the academic achievement and nurture the personal growth of Boston's public school students by providing them with focused, individualized in-school volunteer support. They are seeking to grow their community and support groups. By creating a newsletter sign-up tool on the site they can now take signup information and automatically pass it over to any marketing software such as Constant Contact. Boston Partners will increase their member base without having to upload and manipulate large amounts of data. It is all done automatically.
Looking to the future, Boston Partners in Education will now be able to flexibly scale their site to meet the need of their users!
