Boston, MA --- Legal Sea Foods has launched a new, fully accessible Web site, using the highly customizable and flexible GetfusedCMS technology.

The web-based content management platform, designed and managed by Norwood, Mass.-based Getfused Technologies, allowed Legal Sea Foods to tailor the site to the needs of its customers.

Using the flexible and scalable GetfusedCMS platform, a team from Getfused Technologies analyzed guest usage and maximized the site for customer convenience.

According to Legal’s President and CEO, Roger Berkowitz, “We noticed customers used parts of the site more than others, so we developed a program to highlight those sections of greatest interest. And we’ve added new features that we think will be extremely helpful.” 

The web-based GetfusedCMS allows clients like Legal Sea Foods to control their own web content and grow online offerings as business demands.

The new site includes a live Webcam that displays the view from Legal’s headquarters on the waterfront in historic Boston Harbor, made possible by GetfusedCMS’s Integrated Media Streams feature. The expanded StoreFront and checkout features mean Legal’s online customers can find what they want without hassle.

Behind the scenes, GetfusedCMS allows Legal Sea Foods to fulfill orders easily, while managing shipping and payment processes and tracking inventory.

With the redesign and upgrades, the Legal Sea Foods site has become the first restaurant company site that is fully accessible to the disabled and certified by the National Federation of the Blind. The site exceeds the Section 508 government standard, which means that all users can view and access information on the site’s pages, regardless of personal handicap or equipment limitations.
